YOLI COMPENSATION PLAN
SERIES OF 6 EDUCATIONAL COURSES FOR YOLI MEMBERS
I was in charge of creating attractive educational courses to highlighting the new compensation plan. I filmed, edited, and designed/animated motion graphics. These graphics were made in Illustrator from scratch to give the Yoli brand its own look. I brought those designs into After Effects and custom keyframed the motions to match the speaker. Timing and attention to detail is very important when matching up motion elements to speech, leaving enough space for their range of motion, and transitioning animations smoothly into the next subject. Not to mention choosing complimentary colors to match what the speaker is wearing. All of these are important elements to consider when mixing graphics with live action footage.
A RARE NATIVITY
DESERET BOOK AD FOR NEW CHRISTMAS BOOK
Deseret Book needed to advertise a new Christmas book they were about to release. They provided RAW photographed imagery used in the book, a copy of the book, and a script based off the contents of the book. It was my job to create a story that would interest people in purchasing the book. The mysterious tone of the video accurately depicted the odd perspective of the book.

AD FOR A LOCAL TECH COMPANY
TexPert wanted a funny animated commercial tailored to people who didn’t know how to fix their broken appliances. I made this in 2 business days and had a fellow colleague voice over the narrative. It was a blast to create, and the company loved it.

Cosset approached me to create short intro graphics for their videos. They wanted one for every holiday and color. They ended up not using them in their branding due to changing their minds on how they wanted their brand to be presented. They chose to only present their logo in black, and to not have it move in order to seem more upscale and sophisticated. But this is what their branding could have looked like.

Cinemafex was the name my brother and I used for our freelancing on the side. We figured that people would be more inclined to hire us if we looked more like a professional company. We ended up going a different direction and branding ourselves individually due to potential competition with our current jobs. Nevertheless, a good example of my logo animation skills.
